Following the Battle

A Planetary Assault Battle may be ended in 2 ways in the Astral Dominion League: All Mechs on one side or the other have either been destroyed, or have retreated, and in the second case, when a Team Leader requires a break for the night. This will result in a “Continuation” on a subsequent evening. A Continuation may only be called after a minimum of 5 (Five) engagements have been completed, unless both Team Leaders are in agreement to stop sooner, otherwise the Battle will be considered forfeit. Following the end of a battle, both Battle Commanders will compare the results of that night’s engagements. Discrepancies will be addressed, and both Battle Commanders will ensure that their remaining Force Declarations are “synchronized” prior to departing. If the battle is to continue on another night, both Team Leaders must agree upon a time and place to meet for the continuation.

Note: Battle Commanders can opt to run their battles differently from how they are outlined in the Rules, however in the case a major change, they run the risk of losing any ability to appeal any results or decisions to the Executive Council, should problems arise.
