| | The Astral Dominion League has several Dedicated, OC3 Server assets available for League Combat. These Servers can be reserved, by contacting server-bookings@astral-dominion-league.com. Unless a suitable remotely hosted dedicated server can be found it will fall upon both Teams involved in the Battle to arrange for their Battle Servers. To prevent unfair advantages from being presented, in cases where League Servers are unavailable, a member from each Team (if possible), with a High Speed Internet Connection (the different Battle Commanders’ choice) will be required to Host a Game Server, and set all Mission Parameters within established League parameters, and according to that Battle's Rules (Defender selects almost all Battle settings). In this case, Engagements will then be fought on alternating Team Servers. If there is a question of Stability, Lag, or Packet loss on any “non-League” Server, use of that Server will be suspended. It is strongly recommended that Teams use only League Sanctioned Servers for the Conduct of Astral Dominion League Battles. A large number of Players and Team Leaders in the Astral Dominion League have at their disposal, very high-speed, Broadband Servers. If a Team Leader or Server Operator wishes to have their Server sanctioned as a League Sanctioned Server, they should contact the Astral Dominion League Administrator at admin@astral-dominion-league.com. The League Administrator will arrange for a series of Load Tests and Stability Tests to measure the capabilities of your Server. If deemed sufficient, Your Server will become one of the “Officially Sanctioned League Servers” of the Astral Dominion League. In the event of a dispute over the quality of a League Sanctioned Server, both (all) Team Leaders in the Battle must agree to move the Battle to a Different Server. All Dedicated Servers used for Official League Sanctioned Battles MUST be set to allow stats to be sent to the Zonestats database. Furthermore, Custom decals will be on, and transfers will be allowed. Other Server settings are typically dictated by the specific Mission parameters. Dedicated Servers will used if they are available, and w32dedicated Servers are the preferred type. Astral Dominion League Servers will use a Custom Script for League Combat, known as “Classic NoRespawn”. This Script prevents Join in Progress from operating, therefore, Servers will be set up to not allow Join in Progress, with a Mission Cycle of 2 Minutes, so that when everyone is ready, they will all select “Ready”, and enter the Mission together at the next Cycle. The Standard Settings for a League sanctioned Dedicated Server will be as follows: Advertise this Game: On Report Statistics to Game Server: On Allow Join in Progress: Off Allow Custom Decals: On Dedicated Server: On Cycle Server: 2 Minutes (recommended) Use Map Cycle List: Off Maximum Number of Players: 10 (adjusted according to the proper Overrun ratios as noted below) Force First Person Perspective: On Limited Ammunition: On Heat Management: On Friendly Fire: On Splash Damage: On Force Re-spawn: Off Dead Mechs Can’t Talk: On Dead Mechs Can’t See: On Stock Mechs: Off Max/Min Tonnage: Not Used Time of Day: Day Time Visibility: Normal/Default or Clear (Defender’s Choice. CNR is a modified Team Destruction Game type that ends the match when all forces on one side or the other have been defeated. Mission Map: This is the Defender's Choice, according to Permitted Missions established by planetary conditions in the Automation. In any and ALL League battles, if a Spawn Error occurs of any sort, the battle will be re-hosted.
