Other Mercenary IncomesIndependent Planets may, from time to time, Contract Mercenary Teams to defend “their freedom” if they feel that they are at risk of attack. These Contracts can be determined on a Turn by Turn basis or for an extended period (2 or more Turns) between the Administrator, and the Mercenary Team, and are paid at the end of the Turn in the case of a simple 1 Turn Contract, or at the end of the total Contract, in the case of longer term Contracts. The Terms of the Contract can include cash (as per that Planet’s regularly generated income), RawM (as per that planet's regular production), or a combination of the two (including any acquired salvage from battles during their time there).
